(Nashville, Tenn.) Jan. 6, 2011 – A cadre of Christian music’s most dynamic young artists, led by former GMA New Artist of the Year Building 429, kicks off the new year with a bang and a purpose, heading out in mid-January for the Food For The Hungry Winter Blast 2011.

The ten-city tour also features 33Miles, Jason Gray and newcomer Kerrie Roberts, and was born out of the band’s ongoing partnership with relief organization Food For the Hungry, as well as the exposure to various plights around the world during 2010.

“Building 429, our fans, and colleagues changed the lives of more than 4,000 families through child sponsorship in Haiti last year,” said Building 429’s Jason Roy. “Recently, my wife and I spent some time in Haiti, and we returned from that trip more convinced than ever that this mission must continue.”

“Winter Blast 2011 has an amazing lineup of like-minded artists who are excited to share their music and the hope of child sponsorship,” Roy continues. “I am genuinely a fan of every artist on this tour, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to share the stage with all of them.”

The Winter Blast tour will charge $10 at the door for admission (except for a few select cities), no advance purchase required. The tour will be sponsored and supported by Christian radio partners in each market. For more information, check out www.FHWinterBlast.com.

About Building 429
In 2005 “Glory Defined” was named BMI’s Christian Song of the Year, and the band was named the Gospel Music Association’s 2005 New Artist of the Year and nominated that same year for Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year and Song of the Year. Building 429 has toured with artists such as TobyMac and Casting Crowns, and has also headlined several tours, including Food for the Hungry’s Summerfest in 2009 and 2010, and the 30 Seconds to Change Tour in the fall of 2010.

About Food For The Hungry
Since 1971, Food for the Hungry has boldly served and spoken out for the poor. Food for the Hungry is more than a relief and development organization; they are tested, trusted and innovative partner who respectively walks with the poor in more than 26 countries worldwide while intentionally reflecting the love of Jesus. About 33Miles
33Miles is composed of Jason Barton and Chris Lockwood. The band has received multiple GMA Dove Award nominations, including one for “New Artist of the Year” for their self-titled debut. They have released three albums with INO Records to date: a self-titled debut, One Life and their most recent, Today. The band also unveiled a Christmas project which released nationally in the fall of 2010. 33Miles’ aggressive touring schedule includes nearly 150 dates a year, many with long time sponsor and ministry partner, Food for the Hungry.

About Jason Gray
Centricity Music artist Jason Gray had a banner year in 2010. With a top 5 single, "More Like Falling Love", and a follow up single "I am New" climbing the charts, his music is being heard across the country. He also has toured extensively, most recently being included in the World Vision Make a Difference Tour with Max Lucado, Toby Mac, Third Day and Michael W. Smith. In addition, Jason spent the month of December as the guest artist on Andrew Peterson’s Behold the Lamb of God Tour selling out 15 of 17 shows. Growing up a chronic stutterer in an abusive home, Jason's compelling story adds to his amazing onstage performance. His follow-up record coming in the Fall of 2011 promises more great music from this amazing artist.

About Kerrie Roberts
Pop songtress Kerrie Roberts recently released her soulful-pop, self-titled debut album on Reunion Records. The project’s lead single, “No Matter What,” performed as a multi-format Top 5 hit on Billboard’s Christian AC and CHR radio charts. With proven strong radio support, the emotive singer’s huge, soaring vocals and transparent songwriting poise her to be the next breakthrough voice in Christian music. Mike Prendergast, Director of Programming for KLTY in Dallas, predicted Kerrie Roberts as “New Artist of the Year” saying, “She’s one of the best new acts I’ve heard in a while.” The album’s track “Unstoppable” has also been featured on the FOX network in broadcast promos for the upcoming 10th season of “American Idol.” Roberts toured throughout Fall 2010, opening for Casting Crowns on several show dates, and appearing on the Very Merry Christmas Tour with Newsong and Newsboys.
